What are Cutweb and CIBC?
The "Cutweb" is the term used to describe the wide community of boaters and inland waterways users and enthusiasts who use the internet. This includes subscribers to the above groups but also includes other internet users. Annual gatherings are arranged, sometimes known as Great Internet Get-togethers, or GIGs. Occasionally, informal gatherings, known as Mini-Gigs, are arranged and, where possible, announced in one of the above online groups.

For more information about the annual Great Internet Get-together, open to all internet users interested in waterways, please click here.

CIBC is the Cutweb Internet Boaters' Club, with membership by annual subscription. This is a "virtual" club with no clubhouse, as members are spread throughout the country. However, it is a AWCC registered club, so members may use facilities at AWCC clubs around the system.
